Modern Viola
Inspired by Andrea Guarneri
Constructed in 2002

       

The Back and Sides of this viola are constructed of Lombardy Poplar, which is very light and resilient.  Using this wood allows the instrument to be incredibly light in weight while still providing a rich, dark and powerful sound.

upper bout width - 204mm
c bout width - 139mm
lower bout width - 250mm
mensure - 216mm
total vibrating string length - 367mm (14 7/16")
