Baroque Violin
inspired by Jacob Stainer
 completed in August, 2002

This small pattern violin for baroque performance was inspired by an violin made by  Jacob Stainer, ca. 1655.  It is a model that is very comfortable to play and has been successful for my clients, producing an open penetrating sound with plenty of sustain to the notes, while not being overly bright.  This particular instrument has been sold.
