Unless I'm mistaken, Aehnelt Tools is the company that makes most of the tools labeled TA, and they used to make all the GEWA and Gotz tools; gold steel knives, bending irons, etc. Since 1924, the Aehnelt Company has supported instrument makers with a variety of hand-made precision tools for drilling, reaming, cutting, milling, planing, filing, gluing, measuring, and they offer a wide range of special tools specifically for instrument makers. The website as of January 2013 is difficult to navigate for English speakers, but by frequent clicking of the British flag you can see, read about, and order from their on-line catalog.
